Jesper Kyd

Jesper Kyd is a Danish composer, best known for his soundtrack for video games. Career Kyd started his career in the early 90s. For some time, he was involved in the demo scene and was a member of Silents DK demogroup. Some of the earliest titles he worked on were U.S.S. John Young, Pro Moves Soccer and Sub-Terrania. The latter was developed by Zyrinx in which he was one of the founding members. Throughout his career, Kyd has been working on numerous high-budget titles. Some of his most notable soundtracks are for Assasin’s Creed, Hitman, Borderlands, and Warhammer: Vermintide series. Style Jesper Kyd is known for his versatility. In his works, the composer uses a full orchestra, choir, electronic music, ethnic percussion and takes elements from various music genres and styles from contemporary classic to techno. Kyd takes influences from various musicians: from classical music composers like Respighi and Stravinsky to electronic musicians like Röysopp and The Knife as well rock musicians such as Pink Floyd.
